2. Account Registration

To use our services, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. API Usage and Limits

Your use of our API is subject to the rate limits and usage quotas associated with your subscription plan. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary suspension of service or additional charges as outlined in your plan.

• Free tier: 100 requests per month
• Paid plans: As specified in your subscription
• Rate limiting applies to prevent abuse

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Transmit malicious code or interfere with our services

5. Payment Terms

8. Warranties and Disclaimers

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ADDRESSVERIFY.IO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AddressVerify.io, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use our services will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes via email or through our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

14. Severability
